How much does the device cost?
Is insurance accepted?

Insurance cannot be used to purchase the NCHS Anywhere BearCare Kit, or for Telehealth visits at this time.
Can I pay using my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?

Your HSA or FSA account may offer reimbursement for your device, or coverage of Telehealth consults. Please contact your plan for coverage information on telemedicine services and medical equipment to confirm your eligibility.
Do I need the device to conduct a Telehealth visit?

You can connect for a virtual visit without the device. However, we recommend purchasing the device as it allows the provider to conduct a remote examination.
What hours and days of the week can I use my device?

Providers are available to take your call during the following hours:
• Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Services will be unavailable on the following holidays:
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• 4th of July
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day and the following day (Friday)
• Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

The Tyto Stethoscope is FDA cleared and all TytoCare devices fully comply with FDA regulatory requirements.
Can I use my device away from home?

Yes - the device can be used anywhere in the state of Florida. The device is lightweight, compact, and portable. All you need is a smartphone, tablet or computer, the NCHS Anywhere® app, and a Wi-Fi connection.
How do I create my account?

Once you purchase your NCHS Anywhere® BearCare device, download the NCHS Anywhere app from iTunes or Google Play, or visit NCHS Anywhere® to create your account and connect to a provider.

What is included with my purchase?

Your NCHS Anywhere® BearCare device comes with a case containing your device, stethoscope attachment, otoscope attachment, tongue depressor attachment, adult and child sized otoscope tips, adult and child-sized tongue depressors, and your device charger.
